Rules for the poker and darts are below:
POKER:
This challenge will consist of multiple rounds (hands). For each hand, each shooter will be dealt two cards face down. At the start of their turn, they will look at their cards and then will turn to face their target. They will have 5 seconds to shoot three more cards on the target to produce the best poker hand. Best hand= 5 points, second=4 points, third=3 points. Shooters will change targets every hand to eliminate card memorization. The highest accumulative point total at the end of the night wins.
DARTS:
This is a head-to-head matchup using a dart board target. In 501 darts, players aim to reduce their score from 501 to zero by shooting three rounds per turn. The dartboard is divided into numbered segments (1-20), and the goal is to hit specific sections within those segments to deduct points from the player's score. Hitting the single (large) section of a number scores that number's value. Hitting the thin outer ring (double) scores double the number. The thin inner ring (triple) scores triple the number. The center bullseye is worth 50 points, and the outer bull is worth 25. To start the match, the shooter must double in by hitting any double number. Any hits prior to the double do not count. The game is won by reaching exactly zero with a double. For example, if a player is down to 10 points, they must shoot a double 5 or any variation of points totaling 10 if the last shot is a double. If any shot puts the player past zero, their turn is over, and their score reverts to what it was at the start of their turn. The winner moves on.
