The Texas College Men’s Basketball program continues to raise the standard!

During the Spring 2026 semester, our student-athletes earned an outstanding cumulative 3.5 TEAM GPA, proving that success at Texas College goes far beyond basketball.

In his first year as Head Coach, Coach Kelan Jones is building a culture centered around accountability, leadership, and academic excellence. His message to the team is simple:

“Discipline and dedication determine your destiny.”

That mindset is already producing results in the classroom and setting the foundation for the future of Steer basketball.
