Touch of Gold

Touch of Gold Tyler Junior College's Feature Twirlers & Colorguard This spring break we will be performing in Japan with the Apache Band and Apache Belles.

Outside of their exciting half-time shows, Touch of Gold received1st place in the collegiate division in the National Baton Twirling Association’s All American Tournament of Champions in Las Vegas in 2009 and again in Maui, Hawaii in 2010. In 2011 they competed in the National NBTA competition held at the university of Notre Dame, where they placed 3rd in the nation behind major universities Penn

State and the University of Florida. Being a part of Touch of Gold gives students opportunities to travel, advance their performance level, improve their teaching through clinics and offers members scholarships in various amounts.

Deadline to sign up is April 6th and you do not have to be part of the FSPAA circuit to participate!

We're excited to meet our 2026-2027 Feature Twirlers!

Video auditions are due by midnight on Wednesday, April 1st.

The video must be a minimum of 4:00 minutes long and a maximum of 7:00 minutes long. The video must include, but is not limited to:

One, two and three baton
Advanced dance twirl
Series of trick combinations in a routine or individually
Include video of tricks performed on a football field, preferably on astroturf.
Videos of the applicants twirling can include past performances and current video.
