*UNFORTUNATE NEWS*
Well I guess the word is out...

Due to lack of confirmed entries for this year's Open Wheel Showdown, promoters and title sponsors for the event have made the decision to drop the Midgets from the show , and bring on the Modifieds.

I am absolutely devastated, I want to thank Davey Hamilton Jr. For giving us the opportunity to race our cars for the biggest night of racing on the largest stage ever for open wheel racing. And hope that given the opportunity for the 2025 event the rest of the teams and drivers can commit to the event and make it happen. I know how much hard work D.J and the entire group has put into make this even happen and as much as it sucks for me as a driver I am gutted for Davey to have to fight for car counts for such an amazing event.

I want to thank all of our sponsors, Fans, Family and friends for your support and the efforts you all made, in efforts to get me to the Open wheel showdown this year.

With that said we will be heading to Meridian Speedway "2024" in just a couple days for this year's Pink Lady classic, and since it will now be our final event of the year we are gonna give it everything we have...

Engine package needed.....

The end of year is rapidly approaching, which means the Open Wheel Showdown is almost here.

The largest Pavement Midget event has been extended to 2 Events back to back starting in Las Vegas and then heading to irwindale, California to 👑 the best Midget 🏎 driver In the country as champ 🏆.

We are looking to partner up. We are looking for help to get a motor capable or running up front built. We are also interested in renting a motor for these 2 events

IDAHO here we come...

Just got word from the team up Idaho and it sounds like we are going racing this weekend both Friday and Saturday in Twin falls at Magic Valley Speedway, I'm super excited to get the Intermountain Transmission Exchange , EDGE ENVY MAD MIKE Daniels Racing #87 Midget on track for our first race at that facility.

I can't thank the whole crew enough for thrashing to not only get a completely new car built after one of our cars got totaled but for tearing down my car and getting to the bottom of why it handled so bad last race.

They feel confident that they found the issue and have the car scaled and loaded up.

In just 2 weeks time we will be making our way back to concrete jungle Meridian Speedway "2023” in our return to Midget racing on May 18th

After a nearly 7 year Higatus Michael "MAD MIKE" Daniels will be back behind the wheel to try and clinch yet another 🏆 to add to the collection.

Although we have been out of the game for along time we will go back to our notes and get the Intermountain Transmission Exchange , EDGE ENVY MAD MIKE Daniels Racing #87 ready to keep our undefeated streak at the concrete jungle alive.

Our last appearances racing in Idaho we went back to years in 2015 & 2016 to claim the USAC RACING Midget victories battling it out over current Nascar super stars Jesse Love and Toni Breidinger for rhe Pink Lady Classic

This might have been the highlight of our weekend. If you follow Supercross racing then you will understand, The one and only Ralph Shaheen with SPEED SPORT was the announcer of the Open Wheel Showdown I had the opportunity to chat with him before our race which was definitely one to check off the bucket list. To be among the best athletes in the world that he has called races for was so cool..

Next year we will be back strong and be in the mix battling for the Main Event win. We are already making plans to make some big Horse power upgrades and go from being apart of the show to being the show for 2024 .💯🤘

And at the very least I think it's safe to say that the Intermountain Transmission Midget was the best looking car at the entire show. We received so many compliments over the past week. Thank you so mmuch Davey Hamilton Jr. for bringing Pavement open wheel racing back to the spotlight where it belongs 🙌

One of the coolest pictures I have, 3 wide all carrying the left front wheels off the ground coming out of turn 2 at the famous BULLRING in Las Vegas in 2010 for the USAC Racing Western states Midget championship.

I guarantee you that there are going to be some battles of a lifetime next weekend while we battle it out at the Open Wheel Showdown Wheel Showdown for the largest purse anyone has ever raced for in a pavement Midget.

As one of only a handful of drivers entered that have ever even turned laps at the bullring, we are looking to use those hundreds of laps of experience to our advantage. While we try and pilot the Intermountain Transmission Exchange Honda powered Wysong Chassis to the front.

Be sure to tune in in SPEED SPORT December 1-2 for all the racing action and cheer on the MAD MIKE Daniels Racing team

I may be a has been, but at least I'll never be a never was.

This year I came out of retirement and raced my first motocross race in 12 years , and am about to strap in behind the wheel after 5 years, more mature, more focused and more motivated than ever. I refuse to think my teenage self was the best ill ever be, im ready to chase those Victories.......WE BACK!
