THE RACE IS TOMORROW:

Since we have additional runners sign up we want to provide last weeks email and some ADDITIONAL information:

New:

The course will be marked at critical junctions and turns with yellow and pink flagging attached to clothes pins and stakes. These will be placed at these critical points to lead you in the direction of the course. There will also be a few yellow arrow signs as well. If there is a junction or other trail look for these flags and signs. Once you get on the Rim View Trail, there is only one spot with markings at about 1.5 miles from the trailhead. After this there will be no more markings until you cross road into the Third Fork Campground near the finish. This is because there is no where to go but on the trail.

Last Weeks Email:

We are excited to see you this weekend. As you prepare for the race we wanted to send this email with a few highlights.

Packet Pickup: Friday 5pm-7pm at Northern Ridge Park

Start: Saturday 7am at Diamond Field Jack Campground overflow parking area.

If you cannot make it Friday to packet pickup you can pick up your packet at the start line.
We will have 4 porta potties so come early before the line gets to long. There will be 2 porta potties at the finish line area (Third Fork Campground) you can stop at on the way to the start.
There is a outhouse at the Rim View Trailhead on the course if needed while running (mile 3.3).

It will be warm on race day so we recommend slower runners carry at least 60 oz of fluid, faster runners carry at least 40 oz. We will have water and Gatorade at mile 3.3 of the race (Rim View Trailhead). However, the last 10.5 miles to the finish line will have no water so make sure your hydration system(s) are filled when you start the Rim View Trail.

IMPORTANT 55K REGISTRATION ALERT: The Beaverhead 55K currently has all available registration spots filled. However, we will be adding some FINAL additional spots (approximately 20 to 25 spots) on January 2 at 6am Mountain Time. If you want to run, get this on your calendar and set a reminder, once these final spots fill the race will be closed (No Waitlist).
