Kendra Samargis returned home with a gold medal after competing in the 2026 Copa America Boxing event last weekend.

Dear friends and family,
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my son, Kaih Samargis, an amazing, fun-loving, and outgoing 24-year-old who has been courageously battling Crohn’s disease. Over the past few years, Kaih has endured five major operations, and his recovery journey will be long and difficult.

Because of his condition, Kaih will be unable to work for the next six months to a year. He’s currently facing significant hospital bills, and we’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help with his medical and living expenses during this time.

Kaih has always been full of energy and joy — he loves acting and music, and he’s known for bringing laughter and light wherever he goes. Before his illness worsened, he worked as a server at Milner’s Gate and was preparing to start college.
