Celebrate the season! This Friday members and their guests are invited to our annual ‘Best of the Best’ wine dinner. Attendees will taste through the favorite wines from each of the Club’s monthly wine events and crown the Club’s ‘Wine of the Year’.

Congratulations to Ezra Carlson (.with.ezra) for winning the single sculling event at The Head of the Charles (). Ezra was also the winner of the inaugural 1886 Regatta at Tuxedo this year (pictured). We were honored to have such fine rowing talent at our inaugural Regatta.

Flashback Friday to the 1886 Regatta where Tuxedo Park Resident Richard Murphy enjoys the races with Regatta Chairman Phil Tavani. Fun fact: Mr. Murphy rowed in the 1952 Olympics and won gold for the USA in the men’s eight vs. Russia.

Today and tomorrow (October 11th and 12th) the Metropolitan Area's top players aged 30 and older will visit The Tuxedo Club] for the 16th Mid-Amateur Championship. The full field of players have earned what's become a very coveted invitation for the championship based on finishes in Met Area events throughout the season.

The championship debuted in 2007 at Hudson National and has since visited some of the region's most respected venues, with Wee Burn Country Club, Somerset Hills Country Club and Friar's Head hosting the most recent championships.

After tomorrow The Tuxedo Club] will be one of only a handful of top MGA clubs to have hosted the Met Junior and the Mid-Amateur along with the MGA's three major championships - the Met Amateur, Ike and Met Open.

A very fun (and successful!) weekend for the Tuxedo Team at the 1894 Matches in Newport.

It was that the country’s very first inter-club match took place in 1894 between St. Andrew’s, Shinnecock Hills and The Country Club (Brookline).
