Getting the car cleaned up after a rough weekend at I-44 Speedway OKC with the National Open Wheel 600 Series. Friday night qualifying wasn’t the greatest timed in 5th in my group that put me starting 5th in the heat where I finished 6th. Had to run a B main they took the top 6 and I finished 3rd that put me starting 17th in the A. Was moving up a few spots and there was a wreck in turn 2 had the tracked blocked and I locked up my breaks and was barley in it. Had to restart at the back ended up finishing 10th. Saturday night qualified better timed in 3rd in my group. In the heat race that had me starting 2nd in a stacked heat with a lot of the weekends heavy hitters. I got out to the lead for about 2 laps till a car got by me and I ran 2nd. That set me up to start the feature 5th. Didn’t get a great start and was running in the 7-8th spot with about 5 laps to go and I made a mistake went to turn under a car that threw a slider and didn’t realize there was a car at my left rear and that car jumped over my left rear and climbed up onto the motor knocking off my injection taking me out of the race. On a positive note we did find some speed the 2nd night which was good. We have a little damage to our injection system but we are getting that repaired and will be ready to go this next weekend at Texas Motor Speedway little dirt track to finish out our season. Thanks to all my partners this has been a trying season but hope to finish out strong next weekend in Texas.

Recap from night 2 at Port City Raceway with the National Open Wheel 600 Series. Struggled in qualifying again had me kinda buried for the heat race ended up moving up 1 spot. That put me in the B main starting on the outside pole ran 2nd in that race took the top 3 to the A. Started 18th in the A car felt really good was able to run the top for the first 1/2 of the race and it was a blast ended up finishing 13th. Taking this week off to go on a family camping trip but I will be back in action next weekend at I-44 Speedway OKC.

Night 1 of the Meents memorial at Port City Raceway with the National Open Wheel 600 Series. Didn’t qualify the greatest car was too loose that had me starting 6th in my heat where I finished 5th. I was then in the B main where they took the top 6 to the A and i ran 5th. That had me starting 19th in the A I was up to about 12-13th and just at 1/2 way through and the chain broke on the car. We got it all fixed up and ready for night ✌️.
