My mother Josefa Santana, came from humble beginnings. She was one of 14 children, all raised by the same mother and father, and despite having very little formal education, she became an incredibly talented seamstress.
When my father left, I was only 2 years old. My older sister Ana .santana66 was 7, was 6, and was 4. Suddenly, my mom was left to raise four young children completely on her own. She gave up her personal life and worked multiple jobs, making endless sacrifices to provide for us while we lived in some of the poorest neighborhoods of São Paulo.
And as if raising four kids alone wasn’t enough, she later adopted my little sister when she was just 1 year old, giving her the same love and care she gave all of us.
Fast forward , when my own kids were born during COVID, and I were incredibly blessed to have her with us through the lockdown. Her presence, love, and support carried our family through such a difficult time.
Everything I am today comes from her her strength, resilience, sacrifice, and unmatched work ethic. She is the foundation of our family and the definition of unconditional love.
Mama we love you so so much and we wish many blessings, a lot of parties and dancing, carnaval and please keep smiling, telling jokes and making everyone around you feel loved. You are simply the best.
