Fox Factory 36 and Float X, Transfer Neo dropper, SRAM X0 Eagle AXS. No shift cables, no dropper cable. Minions front and rear, 200mm front rotor, and a 10-52 out back for whatever he points it up.

The Gen 7 frame is the sleeper part. Swap the rocker link and it goes from 145mm of rear travel out to 160. Three bikes in one.

Amy and her new FX+ 1! She’s got it lined up for work, the gym, and the occasional trail.

Good bike for that mix. The throttle gets you moving from a dead stop without a running start, and the mid-step frame means you’re not swinging a leg over anything after leg day. Integrated lights and turn signals, so the ride home in the dark isn’t a guessing game for drivers. 540Wh battery, and the charger is magnetic and mounts to the wall, which sounds like a small detail until you’ve fumbled with a plug in a dark garage.

Jun and his new Madone SL 7 Gen 8. He left his road bike behind in Japan, so he’s been itching to get back out there.

He got a Precision Fit with it, too. Two hours dialing in shoes, saddle, and bars around how he actually rides, plus a written report and 60 days of free follow-ups if anything needs tweaking.
The bike: 500 Series OCLV carbon, Ultegra Di2, carbon wheels, tubeless from the start.

Katrina just picked up a new FX 2 and this one already has a plan. She's taking it straight to the Venice and Santa Monica bike paths, which is about the best home turf a bike could ask for.

The FX 2 is a great pick for that kind of riding. Light aluminum frame, upright and comfy position, wider tires that soak up the rough patches, and enough gears to make any little hill a non issue.

And that blue is going to look real good against the ocean. Happy riding, Katrina!
