Dragonfly traditional bowstrings are on Ebay right now! You don't want to put just any string on a vintage bow, or any bow for that matter. I have been in archery for over fifty years and know about making a good string like Bear and Pearson used on their new bows. Machine made strings don't have the feel of the one's made by hand one at a time. I truly believe that Dragonfly strings are among the world's best.

I recently re-activated this page in order to continue have a close relationship with my bowstring customers. These strings are made in the USA by an old guy with about 60 years in archery. I know how to make a good bowstring for you. They are not machine made, but handmade like used to come with Bear and Pearson recurves and longbows. You can find Dragonfly bowstrings on Ebay. I saw a dragonfly a few days ago. First one of the year. It must have hatched out early, or whatever they do. I'm a big fan of dragonflies. They do no harm, they don't bite or sting, but they do eat mosquitoes!
I was mowing the lawn a few years ago, and dragonflies were humming about. I had been trying to think of a name for my brand of traditional bowstrings. I looked at the dragonflies an thought "that's it" Dragonfly Bowstrings were born!
