Hey all! Hope everyone had a nice break for the holidays. We are going to be starting back for returning members on Monday 01/14.

If you are interested in joining the club, come see us at GOBD on Thursday, Jan 17. We will begin accepting new members the following Monday (the 21st).
If you can't make it to GOBD, shoot us an email or just swing by.

As always, our practices are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6-8pm at the SRC basketball courts.

We look forward to seeing everyone!!

Hello everyone!

To all returning UA students, old and new, we welcome you back to campus!

For anyone interested in getting an early peak at UA Boxing and what the club has to offer, consider stopping by the club sports expo today between 4-6pm at the rec fields. We will be talking to potential members about how our program works, and giving you a taste of what our workouts are like!

GOLDEN GLOVE CHAMPIONS!!!

Alabama Boxing competed for 5 division champion titles last night in the 2018 Alabama Golden Gloves, and returned to Tuscaloosa with titles in both the Welterweight & Heavyweight novice divisions. Good work to all our fighters who competed, and Congrats champs!

Hello everyone! We hope everyone is having a great spring break. For those of you who will be in town this weekend, don't forget that the 2018 Alabama Golden Gloves is this Friday/Saturday, March 17/18.

6 fighters will be competing at various weight classes representing the University of Alabama on both days. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children each day. The location is Vestavia Hills High School. Come watch some great fights and support your fighters!

FIELD DAY!

This Friday, our members enjoyed a break from boxing to enjoy a middle school throwback, with all participating members splitting into 4 teams - Red, Blue, Green & Yellow.

The teams participated in many challenges, and the day provided an opportunity for members to get to know each other more!

In the end, blue team walked away victorious with the most points earned. Congratulations to blue team, and we hope everyone enjoyed the event!

Thanks to everyone who came and visited the booth today! We had well over 140 interested students sign up for our email list that expressed interest in learning the sweet science of boxing! Hope to see all of you there on Monday!

Hello everyone!

We hope all of you have had a fantastic winter break and a great start to the semester. As we begin to start back up for the spring semester, here are some key dates to remember for both veterans, newcomers & interested prospects to the club -

January 17th - Tonight is UA's spring Get on Board Day! We will have a table setup on the 2nd floor of the ferg, where our officers will be more than happy to answer any questions you have pertaining to our club, as well as a signup sheet so all potential members can begin receiving emails. Stop by and find out why boxing could be for you!

January 22nd - For both Veterans and New members, practices will resume on the normal schedule. Practices are Monday - Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 PM in the Student Recreation Center.

Hello everyone,

For those of you who hadn't heard, our recent fundraiser at Miss Dots had been postponed until further notice. We are pleased to announce that our fundraiser at Miss Dots has been rescheduled for this upcoming Thursday on October 12. Unlike last time, an RSVP will not be required to support UA Boxing - simply show up for some great food & some of the proceeds will benefit the University of Alabama Boxing Club! We hope to see you guys there.
