Good afternoon parents,

Due to the insufficient number of Head Coaches, we are unable to move forward with the COED NFL Flag Football evaluations that were scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday.

Please keep in mind that youth athletics at PARA rely on volunteer coaches to coach and mentor these young athletes. We have sent several emails today asking for additional Head Coaches, and we will continue to work to acquire additional coaches through the weekend. If we are able to recruit these additional Head Coaches, we will plan to hold evaluations in the upcoming week at Sokol Park South Multipurpose/Flag Football Fields.

Thursday, July 23 @ 6:00pm: Evaluations for birth years: 2016, 2015, 2014, & 2013

Saturday, July 25 @ 8:00am: Evaluations for birth years: 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, & 2017

In order to have a successful season, it is imperative that we recruit more volunteer parents and community members to coach and mentors these young athletes.

Join the fun and excitement of T-Town Flag Football with PARA this fall! NFL Flag Football offers a program that is perfect for players of all skill levels who want to learn, play, and enjoy the game.

How to Register:
o How do I register? Families can register their children by visiting on of seven PARA Activity Centers, or by registering online. A birth certificate is required for each participant.

ALL athletes should be registered as individuals even, if playing as a team. Once we close out registration and fill coaching slots more details will be sent to coaches.

Key Details:

Registration is Open
Register now through July 17th, ALL players should be registered by then
Who is eligible: Boys and Girls ages 5-14
Player evaluations on July 27
It is okay, if players are unable to attend due to family travels, they will still be assigned a team.
Season starts August 18
Primary game nights will be Monday and Tuesday 5:30 P.M., 6:30 P.M., and 7:30 P.M., with some potential for Thursday nights as well.
Team drafts and finalization will be on July 30th-31st at the Belk Activity Center
