UPDATE: ALL PARA Activity Centers (Including the Tuscaloosa Tennis Center) & PARKS will delay opening on Monday, January 26, 2026 until 12:00PM and will close at 6PM.

All Tuscaloosa Basketball Association - TBA basketball games and or practices will be cancelled Monday, and those games will be rescheduled.

The Jerry Tingle Activity Center Open House originally scheduled for tomorrow is cancelled and will be rescheduled.

PARAkids Extended Day after school care at Rock Quarry is cancelled in accordance w/the Tuscaloosa City Schools closure.

Ol' Ol' Colony Golf Complex greens will be covered until Wednesday. Iron and Ember Golf at Ol' Colony will open 1/26 at 12:00PM and remain open for regular business hours.

PARA is excited to announce expanded childcare offerings for our members! We now have PARAkids Corner Childcare at Faucett Brothers Activity Center, Mary Ann Phelps Activity Center and the Bobby Miller Activity Center for children 12 weeks to 12 years!

Hours at Miller and Phelps: (soft opening - hours to expand w/staffing & demand!) Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:00 pm

Faucett Brothers Childcare Hours:
Monday - Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
Monday - Thursday: 3:30pm - 7:00pm

The Phelps center water leak has been repaired. We will reopen at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22nd.

Phelps Center is closed today due to a water leak. Fitness classes are cancelled and Phelps Summer camp is moved to the Belk Center. We are actively working to restore and will communicate via FB and the PARA app once it’s complete.
