This week we’re wishing a happy birthday to Fetta James! You may have caught Fetta playing in our away bout this past weekend, or anchoring the pack in so many of our past bouts! She’s also a powerhouse off the track, dedicating her time and leadership to junior coaching, training, officiating, and multiple past Board of Directors positions with DCD.

We are hosting a skate-a-thon fundraiser!
How many laps can our skaters complete in one go? You'll have to support a skater to find out!

How does it work?
Donors can support skaters by providing a per-lap donation or a flat donation, skaters will track this with their form and can provide donation receipts for tax purposes.
Each skater will then skate their heart out and count laps until they can't skate any more!

This is a fun, and important way to collect donations to support our not-for-profit sports league.
At DCD we seek to empower local individuals to become more confident, better athletes, and stronger teammates. We believe that roller derby can have a deep and profound impact on a person's life, bringing out both inner and outer strengths on the track and in their day-to-day lives!
