Circlewood Soccer

Good Morning All,
It is with great sadness that I tell you that there will not be an Upward Soccer season at Circlewood this year. I am no longer with Circlewood and the church has been unable to find enough help to run the program. I can't say there will never be soccer here again, but the 2026 season will not happen.

There is good news though. I spoke with my friend Barry Spitzer at Tuscaloosa United (PARA) and their regular registration is open through this Wednesday. He even alluded to waiving the late fee that goes into place after Wednesday for any of you who might be interested in playing with them. They offer soccer for ages up to 18 years old and I am including the link to register below:

It has been a joy to run Upward Soccer for the past 7 years and I will miss each of you greatly. If I can do anything for any of you, please don't hesitate to reach out.

We would like to invite you all to our Vacation Bible School! It will be held June 16-20, 2025, each day from 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon. We have classes for ages four years old - eighth grade. Register your student now by clicking the link below!

Students will need to bring their curiosity to "Magnified" Vacation Bible School this summer! We will zoom in on the intricate details of a butterfly's wings and gaze up to the massive limbs of an oak tree. They will be challenged to stand in awe of God's spectacular creation and see how He keeps the entire universe going and growing, yet He still cares about me!

Our students will learn they can be confident in God's love and that He always keeps His promises!

Due to field conditions, we are cancelling today’s games. We will play Tuesday and Thursday instead. I will have a schedule later today. The Awards Ceremony is still tomorrow at 5:00.
