Newcomers from Eastern and Central Oklahoma were treated to a very-late season hunt in the Panhandle last weekend. While many shy away from late season hunting, the native birds had settled back into some of the same favorite spots. Some good shooting combined with persistence paid off handsomely and brought smiles to these hunter's faces.

A group and scenery that came together around Flynt Farms from Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. Beautiful weather held until the last few hours of the hunt when a blue norther rolled through....brrr. Thank you for your confidence in Flynt Farms to help find the native birds.

Flynt Farms was delighted to reengage one of our very first hunting groups this week after several years break. This group originally responded to a newspaper ad placed in the Daily Oklahoman (a relic engagement)...but became a lock on our opening dates for nearly 20 years running thereafter. Three generations of this family have walked our fields in the Panhandle in pursuit of upland game. We missed a couple of the original gang due to complications of chemo treatment and a life-long friend that chose to stay behind if his hunting buddy couldn't participate (what a statement about what true friendship looks like). To say it was a pleasure to have this group of family and friends return to Flynt Farms is a huge understatement. Thanks for trusting us over so many years to be your guide service!
