Starting for the 2026 season, after a year of strategic planning and testing, we introduce Hoo-dini.

This guy has been trained and flight tested to change the way deer recovery will look in the future. With the assisted drone pack and zero need to charge batteries, Hoo can go all night.

Two bucks we were looking forward to seeing next season.

Super unfortunate to find them this way during a shed hunt, especially after finding one shot in the leg during a routine post gun season fly over.

Predator vs prey

We watched this majestic bird for almost an hour as he kept an eye on the ducks and geese. Hoped to get a shot of it grabbing some dinner!

A prime example of a "we don't allow hunting" spot. (Trust me, we've tried).

That's all she wrote!

The 2025 deer season is officially over. We actually had quite a few more calls this last weekend than expected. Due to availability, we were only able to do a couple.
This buck was shot by a younger hunter and was believed to be hit between the shoulder and the neck. There wasn't much if any blood to trail and the deer was never located.

Once the drone was put up in the air, it made sense why the buck hadn't been seen again. He was still up and moving, with a little limp in the front left leg. We watched it for a little while to try and get an idea of where exactly he was hit, but he refused to move much. It looked to be in the shoulder somewhere due to how that leg was acting. Hopefully this buck makes it to next season, he should be a really nice one.

The season is coming to an end. We will miss it.

Last night we a call about a buck that was shot 5-6 hours prior. The blood trail wasn't what the hunter had hoped for, and they were unsuccessful in locating the buck. We began checking the area the buck ran to, with no luck after clearing out alot of land. In that situation, instead of giving up hope, and what often happens with deer that are likely bumped, we began checking in the opposite direction.

The buck was located approximately half a mile from the shot location, with a big ol' hole in his shoulder. The arrow was actually still hanging out. He seemed alert and very alive, given the amount of time from the shot to when he was spotted. Likely a non lethal shot, and he should be very recognizable in the future if he makes it. Those mega meats leave a big hole. Good blood doesn't always equal a quick lethal shot 💯.

Had a quick one last night for a young hunter before the crazy wind came through.

During the initial track, all that was found was some bone fragment along with some blood.

This buck was located with the drone approximately 900 yards from last blood. The shot location was pretty obvious and is likely non lethal.

Hopefully this new cold weather gets some deer up on their feet. Hunt your food plots, shoot straight and put some meat in the freezer. Goodluck everyone that is still trying to fill a tag!
