We had a very special visit today from Kyle “Lipsey” and we know Corey was smiling down. We were so happy to see him before he heads off to college this week. His demeanor still reminds us of Corey, just so laid back. He came in wearing his daddy’s hammer strength shirt-one that Corey wore all the time around the gym. He was also wearing the “keep your dreams alive”memorial bracelet. That was bittersweet to see.
We sent him off with a few new t-shirts, a graduation gift and Corey’s workout bag, the red one you never saw Corey without and the one that was kindly given to Premiere for display when Corey passed. We figured now was the perfect time to pass it to Kyle and he gladly took it.
We made him a good cookies n cream protein shake and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Seeing guys stop their workouts to come shake his hand and say hello was pretty awesome.
It has been 9 years since Corey passed but his memory lives on at Premiere and in the hearts of many.
Kyle has grown up to be a handsome and smart young man and we’re so proud of him. We wish him the best as he starts his new journey at Belhaven University.
