And Tupelo Marathoners run Chicago!?!

After 23 years, there is a new American record in the men’s marathon.

On Sunday at the Chicago Marathon, Conner Mantz demolished Khalid Khannouchi’s previous record of 2:05:38 from the 2002 London Marathon. Mantz finished in fourth place in a time of 2:04:43, which is an average pace of 4:45 per mile.
