Konrad and I went down the beach trail at Evergreen state college today. Fun times. We saw a huge mushroom on a tree, like the grand pappy of all the other tree mushrooms in the forest, we also saw a humongous owl on a mossy branch right by us, it was not shook at all about us, but it did seem to have a digital camera proof force field surrounding it because my camera couldn't focus on it for s**t, but we did see him take off after a while and just how big he was, gnarly. We found lots and lots of dead crabs washed up to play with (oddly numerous) so we made them have a little tea party and polite conversation before we crunched them and also we left our bags by a log and wandered off playing with toys then hurried back when we realized the tide was coming in to find both our bags open and bobbing in the crab guts and kelp stew. Later we ended up climbing up the cliff before we were forced to camp there for the night. We had wet backs.
