🏆 CHAMPIONS 🏆
What a weekend for the Oklahoma Legends! We traveled 3½ hours to Springfield, MO for the KC Classic Tournament, and these boys showed exactly what they're made of.
⚾️ Pool Play
• Won 18-3 vs. Willard Tigers Silver
• Lost 19-4 vs. Branson Pirates
That 19-4 loss stung, but these boys refused to let it define them. After some food, swimming, laughs, and a little team bonding, they reset and got ready for bracket play!
Our semifinal matchup was a rematch with the Willard Tigers. They played hard, competed with class, and showed outstanding sportsmanship all weekend long. We came away with a 15-9 win, but the Tigers gained a lot of Oklahoma Legends fans!! Their players, parents, and coaches were first class from start to finish. 🫶🏼🐅
Then came the championship game—a rematch against the team that beat us 19-4 the day before.
The rain never seemed to stop, the pressure was high, and not every call went our way, but our boys stayed focused. We had phenomenal pitching, our bats were firing, and had incredible effort from every player!
Final score: Oklahoma Legends 8, Branson Pirates 2. 🏆
There's something special about a group of boys who can take a tough loss, learn from it, and come back stronger the very next day. We couldn't be more proud of their grit, resilience, and heart.
