The Tulsa Drillers are the Double-A affiliate of the National Leagueโs Los Angeles Dodgers and play at beautiful ONEOK Field, located in the Historic Greenwood District in Downtown Tulsa. ONEOK Field opened in 2010 and has been a key player in the revitalization of Tulsaโs Downtown core. gional teams from Texas, Kansas, Missouri, & Arkansas. The Drillers franchise began play in 1977, making it the oldest professional team in Tulsa, but professional baseball has been played in Tulsa since 1905, as Tulsa fielded a pro team prior to the city even being incorporated! The Drillers franchise has won four Texas League Championships winning the league crown in 1982, 1988, 1998 and 2018. In 2020, the Drillers were recognized as the Organization of the Year by the Texas League. It was the sixth time the franchise has won the award (1988, 1992, 1996, 2004, 2017.) The Drillers were presented the prestigious Double-A Bob Freitas Award by Baseball America in 2019. It marked the fourth time (1992, 2005 & 2013) that the Drillers were presented with the Freitas Award which recognizes long-term success and excellence in business of minor league baseball. The Drillers are annually one of the highest-drawing seasonal attractions in Tulsa. In 10 seasons at ONEOK Field, the Drillers have drawn approximately four million fans to downtown to root, root, root for the home team.
