There’s something pretty special about riding alongside butterflies.

Inspired by Bicycling with Butterflies, we’ve made planting milkweed alongside Osage Passage an annual tradition. The book is a beautiful reminder that protecting the places we love can start with something as simple as putting a plant in the ground.

Every year, we plant milkweed along the ride because we want Osage Passage to be about more than miles and gravel. It’s about celebrating the landscape, caring for it, and hopefully leaving it a little better than we found it.

Come ride with us through the Osage. Experience the ch*****ne gravel, take in the views, and keep an eye out for the butterflies that call this place home during their migration... and want more info on the butterfly migration, including the story of how Sara Dykman truly cycled alongside them for almost a year?
