They’re not exciting.
They’re not quick fixes.
They’re not “just eat this” or “do this workout.”

They’re the deeper stuff.

The thoughts you stop believing.

The promises you start keeping.
The way you stop abandoning yourself.
The way you learn to speak to your body instead of constantly fighting it.

Because transformation isn’t just about food and exercise.

It’s about becoming the woman who follows through for herself.

You can’t fail once you truly decide.

If something keeps showing up in your imagination, it’s not random.

It means there is a version of you who can experience it in the physical world.

But you have to believe in it.

You have to hold the vision.
Feel the emotions of the end result.
Decide that it’s happening — this or something even better.

And decide doesn’t mean “I’ll try and see.”

Decide means you cut off every other option.

You stop entertaining the belief that you’re not worthy, not capable, too late, too broken, too far gone, or too behind.

If it’s in your imagination, you are worthy of moving toward it.

Be vulnerable.
Ask for help.
Stay open to guidance.
Take the next step.
And please… don’t give up on the vision that was placed in your heart for a reason.

Save this for the days you need to remember you’re not crazy for believing in more.

The stages of life are funny.

The 40+ mom era might be my favorite one yet.

Not because everything is perfect… but because I finally care WAY more about feeling good than proving I can hang like I used to.

And let’s be real — I do not have time to be hungover, bloated, inflamed, exhausted, moody, or playing catch-up for two days because of one night.

No thank you 😂

Especially in this season of life.

Special needs kiddo who depends on me.
Dreams I’m building.
Workouts I actually want to feel strong for.
A body I want to take care of instead of constantly fight with.

And the more I learn, the more I’m like… alcohol really is not doing us any favors.

It can mess with sleep, increase inflammation, make perimenopause symptoms worse, contribute to weight gain, drain your energy, age you faster, and yes… even affect things like hair thinning and hormones.

Again… NO THANK YOU.

My priorities look different now.

I want energy.
I want strength.
I want clear skin, good sleep, balanced hormones, a calm nervous system, and a body that actually feels like home.

So right now, this is what taking care of myself looks like:

Strength training consistently.
Eating balanced meals with enough protein.
Drinking water like it actually matters, because it does.
Getting outside and moving daily.
Prioritizing sleep.
Managing stress.
Fueling my body instead of punishing it.
And staying grounded in faith, purpose, and the life I’m building.

Not perfect.

Intentional.

Because this version of me has people depending on her.

And she deserves to feel her best too.

Millennials didn’t stop having fun…

We just realized feeling amazing in our bodies is the real flex now. 💪✨

My #1 fat loss hack?

Never. Give. Up.

Not sexy. Not trendy. Not some magic supplement.

But it’s the truth.

If you know you want to get fit…
If you know you want to feel stronger…
If you know you want to have more energy, confidence, and feel good in your body again…

You WILL get there if you refuse to quit.

Life is going to have waves.

Some weeks you’ll feel on fire.
Some weeks you’ll feel like you’re barely holding it together.
Some seasons you’ll make progress.
Some seasons you’ll need more rest, grace, and patience.

That does not mean you’re failing.

It means you’re human.

The key is learning how to ride the waves instead of letting every low point knock you completely off track.

Rest when you need to rest.
Adjust when life gets crazy.
Get back to the basics when things feel hard.

But do not let a hard week, a slow week, or a “down” season make you quit on yourself.

Because what’s the alternative?

To stop taking care of yourself?
To keep waiting until you’re exhausted, uncomfortable, or sick?
To keep starting over every Monday forever?

No thank you.

Yes, having the right strategy matters.
And yes, seeing results helps SO much.

But your success is going to be 90–95% mindset.

The woman who wins is not the one who’s perfect.

It’s the one who decides:

“I’m not quitting this time.”

Today I am eating everything…

I am so hungry today. I just wanna eat everything!

“And it’s making me nervous because I don’t wanna go over my calories…”

That’s a thought I used to have, but fortunately I have a new mindset that helps me stay on the fit path and not get discouraged and give up on myself.

Some days we are just hungrier it is natural! And some days we are less hungry. That’s why it’s important to learn to listen to your hunger and fullness cues so you can work with your body not against it.

Yes, tracking helps because there’s certain foods that really add up in calories and they hardly fill you up, plus they’re filled with chemicals that make you want to eat (yes food engineering is a freaking major at college is now.

There’s chemical formulations that excite the brain, the body and make you come back for more and more and more.)

So back to the point. Some days you’re just going to be hungrier than others, but don’t get scared about going over your calories. Just give yourself a little bit of a break.

Make sure that you’re giving yourself enough rest and really pick and choose about what you really want to eat. Try to still hit your protein goal, but even if you don’t, it’s OK it’s not the end of the world.

And it’s OK to go over your calories sometimes because later in the week you might have a day where you don’t wanna go over your calories you’re not even that hungry.

Writing this for anyone who might think like I used to think which made tracking food in calories toxic for me. But now I know how to listen to my body better for a long-term fitness, confidence, energy, and bad assery!

Eating Sugar isn’t going to make you gain weight. 🍭

With some caveats…
The truth is that anything that you think is true will become true. That is just how reality is. Reality forms based off your own beliefs, which are thoughts you have over and over again (this is physics.)

The energy behind the “I can’t eat sugar” thought is one of fear and one of resistance and that’s a strong energy. You’re basically having faith in fears.

I used to be SO scared of sugar. So I’d fight it. Resist it. And then one day I’d eat all of it and feel SO guilty after. 😩

Once I stopped giving it that much power, once I stopped thinking that when I eat sugar, it’s going to make me fat, I stopped bingeing on it.

There WAS a transition period I wanted to eat a lot of of it when I started allowing myself to eat it again, but eventually, it just became another thing.

Now I am so happy I can have sugar candy sweets in the house without having to worry about bingeing it like I used to. (If you know you know)

It all starts with the thoughts that we have about these things though.

Your thoughts create emotions, your emotions affect your decisions, your decisions affect your actions, and your actions create your results. Then your results will just reinforce the thoughts and beliefs you had in the first place.

Intervene at the thought and belief level, and you can change the outcomes in your life.

This is empowering!

Sugar isn’t the main problem here. It’s the mindset behind it all, which you can change! With the shift in energy from the mindset shift, the desire to binge out on sugar and gain weight just won’t be there.

And sure… that’s a bonus.

But the real reasons?

So I can keep up with Arya without being winded. So I can show her what a strong woman looks like. So I can adventure with my partner and actually enjoy it. So I can show up for other moms who are where I used to be.

And yes — so we survive the apocalypse. Priorities. 😂
