We Crossed the Finish Line on Another Year
As the year comes to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on what made 2024 unforgettable for Factory Full Tilt/Radio BMX Race Team. It wasn’t just the trophies, podium finishes, or the miles (so many miles) we put on the road—it was the relentless spirit of our riders, the unwavering support of our families, and the passion that fuels our BMX community.
This year, we saw riders push past their limits, turning challenges into victories and setbacks into comebacks. Every gate drop held a lesson, every lap carried a story, and every finish line represented the heart and hustle that define this team. It’s about more than racing; it’s about the friendships, mentorship, and shared love for the sport that unites us.
Tears were shed with victories, losses, and frustration. Hugs were given in support and celebration. Blood was spilled on the track and many knuckles were busted in the bike shop, on the bike stands, and in set ups and tear downs. Our faces were wiped, shoulders dusted, wounds tended, ever battle ready.
TO OUR RACERS
Your determination and dedication inspire us all. Whether it was your first season on our factory team or you're one of our seasoned flagship racers (Olivia and Eli, we’re looking at you), you showed up and gave it everything you had. You’ve shown the world what Factory Full Tilt/Radio BMX stands for—hard work, integrity, and the courage to chase big dreams.
So many kids triumphed this year - from bettering skills and looking to the long haul, to coming home with World Championship plates this May - your victories, no matter the size, are a win for us all. We are incredibly proud of every one of you.
Specifically this year we need to mention our USABMX title winners; While we don’t expect to win a National Amateur Title - having both Wyatt “WyFi” Christensen and our sweet-off-the-track-not-so-sweet-on-the-track southern belle Sadie Herrera hoist the big shiny cups over head was icing on an already decadent cake. The creme certainly rises, and knowing that the black plates and skinny digits come home with the two of you is certainly something we are so proud of. National Number 1 Amateur Women’s and Men’s titles. Wow.
We also need to applaud our NAG5 Champ, Sean Day. El Suave had his own title dreams dashed with a “that’s racing” type crash in 1/8th mains Sunday, sending some shock into our camp. Regardless, he rallied with spirit and supported his teammates all day. His work the last several years is absolutely incomparable, and we are honored to have Sean as a FullTilt athlete. We look forward to next year - and future years - for this Washington native.
Athletes, without you we would not be able to say we are the seven time, seven year consecutive USABMX Factory Team Champions. Seven. We believe in being humble, but we also believe in fact. In BMX racing, a dynasty is a team, rider, or group of riders that dominate the sport consistently over an extended period, leaving a significant legacy. A dynasty in BMX racing isn't just about winning titles—it's about setting a standard of excellence, shaping the sport, and inspiring others
Each of you wear this crown.
TO OUR FAMILIES
Your support behind the scenes is the backbone of this team. From late-night bike maintenance to early mornings at the track, you’ve been there every step of the way. Your sacrifices don’t go unnoticed, and we’re grateful to have such a strong community of parents, siblings, and friends cheering us on. The cohesion of the parents on this team is unlike many in this level of sport.
You parents did it all! You took your kid to the track, you took your kid across the country, spanning the nation a few times over - you went to hell and back for them - and each other. You came together not only for your own racers, but treated every child under the tent as if they belonged to you. In a way they do. It takes a village to rear a child, and in the highest level of national BMX racing, it takes a unified team of parents to raise a champion - and you did it, repeatedly.
TO OUR SPONSORS
The belief you put in our team and in the sport of BMX makes all this possible. Thank you for investing in these riders, helping them pursue their dreams, and keeping the wheels turning—literally and figuratively.
TO RACE, JIMMY B., STEPH, JONNIE & CREW
You each had to make the decision to show up and go to work every day. There were days where moving forward together was a challenge, and then you hit your stride. This company and team are forging paths not yet paved with a young-rider-owned team and shop unlike any in recent times. To say there were trials and tribulations is an understatement. Of equal under speaking, telling that successes were found and flourished isn’t enough.
Jimmy B., for many of our kids you're the grandfather they don't have. We cannot attempt to put into words what you mean to us, so we aren't gonna try. Thank you.
AND TO THE BMX COMMUNITY
Thank you, for being the pulse of this sport we love. The camaraderie, competition, and collective passion shared at every track remind us why we keep coming back. This year, we celebrated wins, learned from losses, and left every track knowing we gave it our all. Thank you for cheering for our racers, wearing our brands, and shopping with us. You're supporting grassroots racing and keeping BMX racing alive.
As we look ahead to 2025, we carry with us the lessons, memories, and relationships forged this year. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see where the next season takes us. From every jump and straightaway to every finish line and podium, we’ll be there, ready to represent Factory Full Tilt/Radio BMX with pride.
Here’s to another year of racing, learning, and growing—together. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. See you in the gates in 2025!
