Oilers Ice Center to Host WFC: Gold and Glory on November 7
Tulsa, Oklahoma — August 20, 2026 — Oilers Ice Center is proud to announce WFC: Gold and Glory, a new live professional wrestling and entertainment event coming to Tulsa on November 7, 2026.
Tulsa Ice Centers is partnering with WFC (Wrestling For a Cause) to bring this unique event to Oilers Ice Center, marking the first major entertainment event hosted at the facility. The partnership introduces Tulsa audiences to an exciting new form of live entertainment while creating an opportunity to showcase one of the city’s most recognizable sports venues in a new way.
Founded in Oklahoma, Wrestling For a Cause has spent more than 15 years combining professional wrestling with a mission much larger than what happens inside the ring. Through more than 190 events, WFC has helped raise more than $600,000 for families, children and charitable organizations, with a major focus on helping families impacted by childhood cancer.
WFC has built a reputation for delivering family-friendly professional wrestling while using its platform to bring communities together and help people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That mission will continue as WFC expands beyond its home base in Broken Arrow and brings its brand of professional wrestling to more communities across Oklahoma and the surrounding region.
Gold and Glory will bring that mission to Tulsa with an action-packed evening designed to appeal to longtime wrestling fans and newcomers alike. The event will feature live professional wrestling, larger-than-life personalities, championship competition and the atmosphere that has made WFC events a destination for wrestling fans and families throughout the region.
The name Gold and Glory also carries special meaning for the partnership. Gold represents the championship gold competitors will pursue inside the ring, Tulsa’s historic connection to oil and the Oilers name, and—most importantly—the gold ribbon representing childhood cancer awareness and the families at the heart of WFC’s mission.
“We are excited to bring more entertainment and sports to the area,” said Andy Scurto, Owner of Tulsa Ice Centers. “WFC has a great vision for combining professional wrestling with community involvement, and we believe Gold and Glory will be a great addition to the Tulsa entertainment scene.”
For WFC, the event represents an opportunity to introduce the organization to a new audience while beginning a relationship with one of Tulsa’s recognizable sports facilities.
“For more than 15 years, WFC has been about using professional wrestling to make a difference, and this partnership gives us an opportunity to take that mission to an even bigger stage,” said Tim Rockwell, WFC Founder and Promoter. “There’s something special about bringing WFC into a building connected to the Oilers and Tulsa sports history. Gold represents championships, it represents Tulsa’s oil heritage, but for us, gold will always represent the children and families fighting childhood cancer. We’re excited about November 7, but we’re even more excited about what this partnership with Tulsa Ice Centers could become in the years ahead.”
The event also represents a new chapter in the history of Oilers Ice Center. The facility has long been associated with Tulsa sports, most notably through its connection to Tulsa Oilers Hockey. More recently, the center has continued to serve Tulsa’s professional sports community, including hosting practices for the Tulsa Oilers Football organization during the 2026 season.
Now, Tulsa Ice Centers is looking to build on that legacy by opening the facility to a broader variety of sporting and entertainment experiences.
