The Booker T. Wrestling FAMILY got together last week for our end of the year banquet to celebrate the historical reinstatement of the wrestling program for Booker T. Washington. Many stories and laughs were shared. This is a special group that has laid a foundation for coming future of Booker T. Washington Wrestling. Thank you to the BTW Wrestling Booster Club and parents for organizing the event! 🧡🖤

As this season has came to a close, we are extremely proud of the hard work, determination, grit, and willingness to learn this year’s wrestling team has shown throughout the season. This team didn’t flinch while experiencing a lot of firsts going through the grind of a high school wrestling season. We have a lot to be proud of. As a first year program, this team has accomplished:

Undefeated Dual Season
Having wrestlers place at every regular season tournament
Finished Top 10 at the Ray Murphy Memorial Tournament
2 State Qualifiers
1st Girl’s State Qualifier in BTW History
1st win at the Girls State Tournament in BTW History

We are grateful for the support received by the sports community, friends, and families of the wrestlers. 🧡🖤
