This winter Megan and i talked about spinning, aggression on the track and skills work being the focus. WELL, here we are in MAY and shes showing the work she put in all Winter and Spring!!!!

Yesssss!!! I coach men too if you were wondering!

This Body Recomp client is 44 years old and chose my 4-month option to test things out. We did what works, No extremes, crash dieting and no “all or nothing” plan. Just structure, accountability, strength training, nutrition awareness, and consistent ex*****on over 4 months

He started January averaging 180.9 lbs and is currently trending at 168.4 lbs, down 12.5 lbs while building habits that actually fit his life. If you seen the transformation picture you’d say - “ONLY TWELVE LBS?!!”

When this client and i started working together, the focus was BMX-specific.

&& let me to youuu, She had a YEAR last year!! She maxed out her wins, battled all the way to Grands, and was in the mix for that #1 title.

After a couple crashes that weekend, life, sickness, and honestly just needing a reset… we shifted gears this winter.

The goal became: build her overall strength.

At our last check-in, she told me she loves being the female at work who can lift the heavy stuff.

Then she sent me this video and said she did a form check on her 3rd set and was so proud of how far she’s come!!!

When gears need to be shifted, we make it happen, and you make YOURSELF proud along the way!!!!

Brit’s story makes me emotional because it was never just about the weight.

When she first came to me after having her first baby, she just wanted to get moving again. She was nervous to focus on food, not because she didn’t care, but because she cared so much about protecting her mindset && I respected that sooooo much.

She started this program, workouts went nice and strong made very good progress for a nice while.
Then life happened. Baby #2 came. Postpartum happened again. The standstill && frustration happened.

Thennn Brit came to me and said something that stuck with me… She had watched someone close to her stop hiding behind certain clothes. Not just “lose weight”, but look free.

And that’s what she wanted. She wanted to stop hiding, trust herself, feel like herself again and wanted to walk into her life instead of shrinking from it!!!!!!

Since the end of June, Brit has gone from 191 lbs to 154 lbs,37 pounds down. Out of all of this I’m so proud of her mindset.

She started packing lunches and preparing instead of being surprised. Along with treating workouts like something she deserved to show up for.She learned that food didn’t have to be scary, restrictive, or all consuming.

Shes now she’s doing shows with her band agin at pre baby weight, feeling confident, and strong. 🥹

Brit, I hope you see what I see.
Which is a woman who didn’t let fear run the process an a mom who rebuilt trust with herself. A client who stayed consistent when it wasn’t flashy.
A person who chose freedom and earned every bit of it.

I am so, so proud of you. 🤍

Im starting to realize most of my new clients & riders I work with have absolutely no idea i even raced as i retired at the end of 2023 after starting in 2000🫣

SO, i decided each week we will follow the national schedule and if i have a fun race of me from there, im going to show it!

This week’s Coach Kate Race brings us to the beautiful Powder Springs, Georgia.
Im in the white helmet with the black & red uniform.

I had to be on my game in the broad ages class of 21-30 as i was starting to become the old lady in the class and the young 21 yo’s were coming in strong.

Definitely a go to if you’ve never hit the Dixieland Nationals!!
