Last night was a heartbreaker. We were leading coming to the final corner when we ran out of fuel before the checkered. I’ve never been so disappointed getting out of a race car. It’s hard knowing we were that close.
At the same time, I’m grateful. One of my goals was just to get the opportunity to race a sprint car, so to now be in position to win one is something I don’t take for granted. Big thank you to Craig, Mike, Justin, and Eric for all the hard work they continue to put in. They’ve given me a car capable of winning, and I can’t thank them enough for believing in me. The highs and lows are all part of racing, but we’ll keep moving forward.
The team decided not to make the trip to Haubstadt tonight, so our focus shifts to Belle-Clair tomorrow in the midget. 💪
