Lockers are in and there are more to come. Cubbies will be taken out and shoes will no longer be able to be stored unless you rent a locker.

Effective 7/1/25

$10 per month or $100 for a year. Any shoes left will be put in lost and found.

Please remember that you need to bring a CLEAN pair of shoes to change into. Be respectful and treat it like your home and don’t walk through with dirty shoes.

How to Get out of a Fitness Funk

No one said your health & fitness journey was going to be easy, but there’s no need to make it harder on yourself to stick with it and to enjoy the process

Next time you’re in a fitness funk, give one or a few of these a try to get your head & motivation back into it 👇🏼

✰ Try something new - Set a new PR/goal to work towards, switch up/add new exercises into your workout program, buy new gym clothes, find a new playlist/artist that gets ya hype, get a new preworkout, try out a new food or recipe

✰ Change up your routine - Go to the gym at a different time, add a walk + podcast into your morning routine, do your cardio before work to start your day, try out a new gym for the day, get active outside the gym

✰ Talk to someone about it - A friend, significant other, coach, someone who knows your goals to will help talk ya through what you’re struggling with and hype ya up to get back into it

✰ Just push through it - Sometimes, we just have to push through it and be mentally stronger than the obstacle in front of us. You know your health and fitness should be a priority, so break out of that funk by just staying the course

✰ Remember - why you started, how good you feel after you finish a workout or nourish your body, and most importantly that this rut won’t last forever.

Forearm Plank Climbers

✅ Drive your knee all the way in and squeeze your abs, you want to round your back so your abs contract properly.

✅ Keeping your core engaged, lift your right foot off the floor and bring your right knee toward your chest.

✅ Avoid rotating your hips or shoulders. Return to the starting position and do the same with your left knee.

✅ Continue this movement for 20–30 seconds, or as long as you can maintain proper form.

Cable One Arm Cable Raise (Shoulder Exercise)

✅ Attach a stirrup (handle) to a low cable pulley.
Grasp the stirrup with one hand and step forward until the cable is pulled taut and your arm is left by your side and a little behind you.

✅ Make sure your abs are engaged and your back is straight.

✅ Keeping your elbow slightly bent, raise the stirrup forward and upward until your arm is about shoulder height, slowly reverse the motion and lower the stirrup to the starting position.

✅ Repeat the exercise with your opposite arm.

3 set of 10-12 reps

4 sets of 12-15

Should Press Machine

✅ Adjust the seat to your height. The bars should be at shoulder height. You should be seated comfortably, with your back against the pad.

✅ Push the weight upwards and over your head. Pause at the top, but don’t lock out the elbows.

✅ Lower back down in a slowly. Make sure not to lower too far that the weight is resting.

Using the machine is completely fixed. You can’t control how you move the weight; you just follow the motion that the machine allows. This makes it different from using free weights, where the way you move them is up to you.

3 set of 10-12 reps

EZ Bar Upright Row (Shoulder Exercise)

✅ Grab the bar slightly narrower than your waist.

✅ An EZ Bar is ideal for this exercise, because it has less impact on your wrists.

✅ Raise the bar to your chin, and hold for 1 second at the top for the squeeze.

✅ As always make sure your abs are engaged, your back is straight and knees slightly bent.

3 set of 10-12 reps
Or
4 sets of 12-15
