Formerly the Jr. NBA page, this page will now serve as the home for Tullahoma Parks and Recreation Athletics, featuring a wide range of programs such as Jr. NBA, NFL Flag Football, Babe Ruth, eSports events, Adult Baseball, and other special athletic events. Be sure to invite your friends of all ages to join and like the page, because several programs and events will be open for all ages. Tullahoma Parks and Recreation has partnered with Jr. NBA to give youth the opportunity to learn and grow in their basketball abilities. The Jr. NBA season begins on December 7, 2019 for youth in grades K-5. Registration will become available towards the beginning of October. Players will receive an NBA replica reversible jersey to keep with his/her registration.
New in 2019, Tullahoma Parks and Recreation is now offering NFL Flag Football for youth ages 6-12! Part of the NFL’s mission to raise awareness and reduce the risk of concussions, this program is a great alternative to parents and youth who wish to compete in the sport of the South without the added risk of tackle related injuries. For just $39, players get an NFL replica reversible jersey to keep and a 10 game season. Games are played at Waggoner Park on the outfield of Waggoner 3, adjacent to the highway. Players may still register throughout the season, so come out and see all the fun!
Ages 13-15 are eligible to compete in Tullahoma Parks and Recreation Babe Ruth League, offered towards the end of the school year in May. Players from several different counties come to play in the Babe Ruth League, as we are one of the few cities that offer baseball to players in this age division. Tullahoma’s history of baseball success are on display in this program! Games are played at Waggoner Park on Greene Field.
