Success Gymkhana Association

Success Gymkhana Association Established in 1961 for friends and family to come together and compete on horseback in timed events. Points are added up for great year end awards!

An equestrian event consisting of speed pattern racing and timed games for riders on horses. These events often emphasize children's participation. In most of the western United States, this type of competition is usually called an "O-Mok-See" (also spelled O Mok See or "Omoksee") competition, a term derived from a Native American phrase meaning "games on horseback." However, the term gymkhana is

used in California. Gymkhana and O-Mok-See classes include timed speed events such as barrel racing, keyhole race, keg race (also known as "down and back"), and pole bending. All of these events are designed to display precise, controlled actions and tight teamwork between horse and rider at speed. Please let us know if you are interested in helping this season

Thank you all for the votes!

We will be having pulled pork, roll, and coleslaw for our banquet meal! Lunch will be ready at 12:30, so we hope to have our race done before that. Points will be tallied, we will eat, and we will proceed with giving away awards! The meal is $15 per plate for the pulled pork, but our bbq man has offered to have hot dogs for the littles.

Can't wait to see you all for our final ride of the season on Sunday!!

👻Input needed ASAP!!

🐖We have someone that can come for us for our banquet Sunday. He offered to do a pulled pork plate with a roll and coleslaw. He looked up prices, and best he can do to cover cost is $15 per plate.

☀️At this time, our only other option is pizza or bring your own food. Our original taco guy has failed to respond, and others are busy.

🎊The club will supply water and a dessert.

🗳️Please give us your vote in comments. If we, as a whole club, vote to have the bbq man come in, we ask that everyone participate and support his time being there.

All families - please bring a raffle item!

We have asked a vendor to do tacos and are pending their response. We will not be doing the same foods as previous years so if anyone has an idea that is affordable please reach out to us.

SGA will provide dessert and waters.
