Personal Growth Challenge for June 2026

This month’s personal growth challenge is an aquatic challenge.
Students who know how to swim:
Improve in some aspects of swimming. Here are some examples:
• # of laps in 10 minutes
• Time to swim 50, 100, 200, ... , 1000 yards
• Learn a new swim stroke
• Make up your own goal

Students that do not know how to swim. Take this month to get in the water.
• Learn how to float on your back
• Learn how to tread water
• Learn how to swim
• Make up your own goal

Purple Heart Park pool is open for June and July and it is free to swim. It has open swim Tuesday - Saturday 1pm to 7pm.

Be safe and make sure you have a lifeguard or adult present when swimming.

Let the instructors know what you will work on and let us know how much you improved!
