Congratulations to Patrick Murphy on being recognized with the USA Hockey Participation & Growth Award at the NHL Annual Shottys.

Over the past year, Murph has been at the forefront of growing the game across Arizona—introducing new players to hockey, creating opportunities for families, and helping ensure that anyone who wants to play has a place to start.

Since June 2025:

450 + new hockey players introduced to the game
100+ sessions delivered across Arizona
6,200+ miles driven to bring hockey to communities statewide

This recognition reflects countless hours at the rink, on the road, and in the community. We’re grateful for everything Murph does to help grow the game and carry on Matt Shott’s legacy.
