She began her dance fitness journey in 2016 as a Zumba Instructor, later exploring other formats like Strong by Zumba and Mixxedfit. Laura completed her Mixxedfit Instructor training in 2017 under former National Trainer Ryan Grovey, and was immediately captivated by the format. After trying other programs, she found her true passion in Mixxedfit's people-inspired, community-focused approach. In 2
018, Laura became a Mixxedfit Master Educator, reinvigorating her life, health, and social interactions. Known for her spontaneous, high-energy classes, Laura often "wings it" by taking last-minute song requests and leading toning exercises without prior practice, pushing her students to their limits. Laura is deeply passionate about using community-based fitness and wellness to empower marginalized groups. She provides free Mixxedfit classes at local parks and volunteers her time at various community events supporting causes like su***de prevention, ovarian cancer awareness, autism support, victims of trafficking and Habitat for Humanity. As a Mixxedfit National Trainer, Laura's mission is to inspire people to never give up, because as she says, "it only takes one." She has also created an innovative resistance band training program called Move2Fit, which blends energizing music with an effective strength-building regimen focused on the glutes and full-body. This unique fusion of resistance training and rhythmic movement delivers a transformative workout experience that builds strength, definition, and cardiovascular fitness to the beat of the music.
