Congratulations Sir Joshua for being our February AOTM!
Josh has ben an outstanding addition to the CrossFit East Tucson family. He is a high energy guy who is super focused and always eager to learn and progress. His consistent attendance and drive have lead to significant gains in his mobility, strength and endurance. He is very deserving of the CFET Athlete of the Month honor.

4. When did you become a member at Crossfit East Tucson? Fall 2019
5. What type of program or exercise/s were you doing before you tried Crossfit? Body combat
6. What is your profession? State Trooper
7. What else do you like to do outside of Crossfit East Tucson? Hunt, Fish, Camp, Mountain Bike
8. How did you find out about Crossfit East Tucson? Old gym closed and members went to CrossFit East Tucson
9. When did you first know that Crossfit is right for you? After the first week
10. What is your least favorite WOD or movement and why? Overhead Squats and snatches. Just hate them
11. What is your favorite WOD or movement? Anything with running, burpees and deadlifts
12. Brag about yourself. Since you have been in CFET, we have seen your growth as an athlete. Tell us about your journey. Started CrossFit in 2019. Went to 5:15 class and got hooked right away. The coaches are amazing and challenge you everyday. I have seen gains in all my maxes and continue to learn. I look forward to building on my successes and becoming a better me.
13. What or who motivates you during your WODs? The one and only “Chill”
14. What is that one thing you thought you could never do at CFET but succeeded to get it done? Overhead Squats
15. Tell us something about yourself that not a lot of people know about? Completed an Ironman 70.3
16. Do you have any advice for new Crossfitters? Give it a month before you stop. I promise it will stop hurting as much one day.
17. Who is your favorite Crossfit Athlete? Don’t know any
18. What is you favorite cheat meal? In and Out
19. Describe yourself in One word. Heide would say “turbo”
20. If you had to program a WOD, what would it be? Lots of running, box jumps, deadlifts and burpees.
