From the early days of my life, I was immersed in the world of dance, thanks to my loving mother. Tap, ballet, jazz, and acrobatics became the first form of physical movement I learned as a skill. In parallel, I developed a deep affinity for equestrian riding from my father. Even though these two activities seemed so different, it showed me that as my strength grew, I improved. During my teenage y
ears, I delved into the world of martial arts, studying Kenpo Karate and ultimately achieving a black belt. This journey not only honed my skills but also ignited my passion for teaching as I shared this martial art with others. My path then led me to the United States Army, where I served as a paratrooper. The military instilled in me qualities of resilience, leadership, and camaraderie that have shaped my life. Post-military, I took an unconventional path, working as a blackjack dealer while traveling across the country. This experience allowed me to intimately understand the diverse ways of people, broadening my horizons and deepening my empathy for the human condition. Through life's challenges, including battles with depression, I found solace and healing in long-distance hiking. The rhythmic footsteps and serene landscapes became a sanctuary for my mind, leading me on a path of self-discovery and mental well-being. In 2019, I founded Age Strong Fitness in Tucson, driven by my passion for health and wellness. Through this venture, I aim to inspire and motivate individuals to embrace an active lifestyle and defy limitations, just as I have done throughout my life. In the midst of this journey, I found love in the form of my beautiful wife, Denise. Together, we continue to write new chapters in our incredible journey.
