Why Me Lord Race Team

Why Me Lord Race Team Walking by faith means being perceptive, resilient, and engaged. In 2 Corinthians 5:7, the apostle Paul says, “We live by faith, not by sight” (NIV).

The ESV says, “We walk by faith, not by sight.” By “we,” he's talking about followers of Jesus.

Happy Birthday to Paul owner/driver of the Why Me Lord 47 years old today! Has been involved with boat racing since 5 years old. A spectator till the age 23 then in and out of the racing circuit for years. Still turning laps is a win in itself. Most people his age talk about the good times he is still having them! Happy Birthday Paul

"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." – Mark 10:43

Jesus completely changed the definition of greatness. True leadership isn't about being served it's about serving others. Look for one opportunity to serve someone without expecting recognition.

JSBR Executive Board Announcement

The Jersey Shore Boat Racing Executive Board would like to announce a change to the position of Chairman.

First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank Jimmy Crimmins for everything he has done for JSBR. Jimmy has dedicated his time and effort to helping our organization grow, and we appreciate the work he has put in during his tenure as Chairman. His contributions have helped us continue building the foundation of what JSBR is today, and we are grateful for his commitment to the club.

As our organization continues to grow, the demands placed on leadership positions have grown as well. After careful consideration, the Executive Board has decided to move in a different direction with the Chairman role. This decision was not made lightly and is in no way a reflection of Jimmy as a person or his dedication to the sport.

Effective immediately, Jay Speck will assume the role of Chairman.

Jay has consistently demonstrated a commitment to JSBR through his attendance at our races, participation in meetings, willingness to volunteer whenever needed, and his continued involvement in helping move the organization forward. As we continue to expand, it is important for the Chairman position to be filled by someone who is regularly present at events, actively involved in day-to-day operations, and available to assist with the many responsibilities that come with the role.

We are confident that Jay will do an excellent job and look forward to working alongside him as we continue to grow boat racing at the Jersey Shore.

Please join us in thanking Jimmy for his service and congratulating Jay on his new role as Chairman.
