Getting personal

Marcellus Knyght vs Kato

Personal issues draw money according to the late great Jerry Jarrett. If there is anything to this then, this fight is gonna be money. To say that Kato has been playing a few mind games would be a gross understatement. Kato has stalked and attacked Knyght at various promotions. He has even went so far as to harass Knyght s family at their home. All for the sake of gold.
That coveted New Genesis Wrestling Heavyweight Championship is not something Knyght is going to let go of easily. It took years for night to obtain a singles Heavyweight Championship. This one came at a steep price, first he had to endure a grueling tournament, which culminated in a match against one of the areas top competitors Chris Kade. For those that did not witness that bout. Knyght left it all in the ring that evening.
Kato may be very skilled at mind games. But chances are excellent that he's gonna need to come with a little more than that. For his sake let's hope he figures something out before Knyghtfall.

Pt Beckham vs War
Years in the making
Years in the making is not just a clever tagline. This match has truly been coming for years. At one time Beckham was a young graduate of the ring of courage ran by the son of the south Frankie D. Beckham soon became disgruntled with a perceived lack of opportunity in which he blamed some of the more prominent veterans. So he set out to shake the pillars of the Midwest wrestling community. Beckham has been through a few monikers notorious, Midwest bad boy etc In doing so he has quite the list of veterans in his body count, Ricky Cruz, Damian Blade and Jeremy Lightfoot to name a few. But one has escaped his clutches. WAR W.A.R is a completely different beast, one that always brings big fight atmosphere. His battles with Jeremy Lightfoot, Douglas O'shea and Pl***oy HH are a testament to that. This match is sure to be the most hard hitting grudge match that iew has had thus far. It quite possibly could be one of the more talked about grudge matches in the area. Its surely to be not just a match but WAR.

The Monster Savage

A savage is someone who does not care about the Consequences of his or her actions. Usually the savage will do things that make other people say, "What the f are you crazy?" It has been over used to mean other things but this is the original meaning.
Terrorizing the squared circle from the Seven Gates of Hell, Collinsville, IL. If nothing else just the look alone Merritts this monster the name SAVAGE, Standing
6:2 weighing in at well over 300 pounds rocking a full viking beard and a creepy phantom of the opera type mask I think even Steven King would call this man savage af.
This isn't a monster by looks alone. His actions speak louder than his beard ever could. Just ask Sid Holland and Jake Prater about his clubbing bruting style. That clubbing bruting style topped off with his finishing move Damnation has put many of foes to rest. The list of victims has been endless and laden with championship gold including Former IWA Productions Heavyweight Champion (1 time)

BIG THINKERS OFTEN DO BIG THINGS. SMALL THINKERS NEVER DO BIG THINGS

When talking about doing big things in professional wrestling in this area, There's a name that stands tall over most. Standing tall at 6'1 and weighing in at a whopping 309 pounds, that name is BIG SID HOLLAND. Don't think it came easy though. Coming from a broken home and having no real role models he very well could have grown up broken himself. But fortunately for him he found prowrestling at a young age and clung to a dream of becoming a professional wrestler.There have been many hands that have molded this man into the champion he is today. He received his initial training in 2015 at Dynamo Pro under Jake Dirden and Mike Outlaw, he received further training from Brandon Espy Espinosa. He also found himself under the learning tree of The King Of Chaos Ricky Cruz by way of The Ace Wrestling Academy.
There are certain things that just can't be taught though. One such attribute Sid has is the invaluable gift of gab. In the ring, on the microphone, out of the ring, in the crowd, or at the gimmick table Sid Holland is undoubtedly one of the best talkers in the Midwest. Sidenote one endearing thing about Sid, he can quite regularly be found choppin it up with the fans young and old. But it's not the talking that's brought him to the multiple championships he has held. It seems that wherever he goes belts are magnetically drawn to those gargantuan paws he calls hands. That may have something to do with The F5 he uses to incapacitate his opponents.
April 15 he may sieze another opportunity at championship gold. At New Genesis Wrestling if his team is victorious, he will receive a shot at the NGW Heavyweight Championship currently held by Marcellus Knyght. Win lose or draw one thing is for sure, BIG things are ahead for BIG SID HOLLAND!

Corey Americana
The Cross he bears
Corey Americana is a professional wrestler from Peoria Illinois. He has been in the business for seven years, and if being trained by the late great Tracy Smothers isn't enough he has an Ace up his sleeve. That ace is in the form of a huge cross inked onto his back. By itself it is a brilliant piece of ink art. But when asked about the symbolic meaning behind it, he stated,

" I'm not super religious but it's there to keep me reminded that God and Jesus are watching over me and will always be! They have my back!"

Whether you consider yourself a believer or not, a man that believes he walks with God is capable of tremendous things, it says in Psalm 91 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”

to guard you in all your ways;

As a young wrestling fan Corey probably couldn't pick a favorite, but he does hold the attitude Era as the greatest. With superstars like Austin Rock And HHH who could blame him. His role models would be his father and his brother which is also great in a young man's development. As iron sharpens iron so to does one man sharpen another.

Coming up Corey will come to a crossroads of opportunity. That happens to be his finishing move The CrossRhodes. The opportunity will be tryout at Destination Six. He already wrestles for NWR And IEW which he had a great showing for at their last event.

No telling what other opportunities lay ahead for Corey Americana but it is written

OK this is it, I've tried like 7 or 8 times to write a decent article about chris trader. But with. My mental illness its hard to focus. So here are a few partials from my time in the hospital . I tried to piece them together the best I could.

I originally wanted to write an unbiased article about chris trader,but quite frankly against "most" other wrestlers I'd side with W.A.R In a competition.. And there's so much history with daddy Ray and dem Boyz and W.A.R . So I Iooked to the good book for guidance and got this.

5 years ago I met a man known as Chris Riot who would turn into W.A.R all along being chris trader. Every man has a story and here's ours. I can tell you first hand the story of that man is one the God blessed. Chris riot trader WAR is truly a spectacular athlete. Oh he has his demons. But he has far more soldiers in his army.

Some call him The H***ytonk Man. They have that right If they choose to execute it. But it is in all honesty unfair and a little disrespectful to him. With all due respect to Mr Wayne Ferris, Wrestling's original H***ytonk Man, The H***ytonk Kid is a far better performance artist. Though Mr Ferris may have achieved more notoriety as a wrestler. HTK is a multifaceted performer. There are many that would claim that he is a little too seasoned to be referred to as Kid. But the magic he creates can only come from a child like imagination. Which we would all do well if we had.

HTK Is living proof of the power of positive thinking. When 2020 shut down professional wrestling, he continued to apply that positive thinking to his other endeavor of painting. Now After weathering that horrific storm that we all remember too well, Tangible evidence of his internal creativity has been materializing. A STORY ABOUT ANDY

A little boy stood at the Pearly gates waiting to speak to the Almighty,

according to Bobby the Brain Heenan that place is called the gorilla position.

Saint Peter asks the boy, what is the name of the Almighty?

The boy replies, his name is Andy.

Saint Peter asks, How did you come up with that name?

The boy says, you know the song, Andy walks with me Andy talks with me.

That is a joke, what is not a joke, is the impact Andy Adams has made on the world of professional wrestling. He has done so through effort, hard work, and genuine love for the sport of professional wrestling. He is known by many monikers, the hardcore boss, the sheriff, or simply Andy to name a few. It is very doubtful that there is anyone that knows his full story.

But you can call him a wrestler of sorts, he is great at security, and he is a true fan of the industry. And he has been known to execute an awesome BUNDY Splash.

He is a volunteer fireman, he is many things in or out of the ring.

It's easy to get to know him just ask around the STL area wrestling community.

It is the opinion of this journalist that Andy Adams is a great wrestler.

Any questions about him should be answered by him personally.

But my personal advice is don't joke about Andy. He is a great man.

Nasty Time

If you are unaware of what time it is ask none other than The Big Nasty Glenn Williams. He is the SICW rising star that proclaims himself to be the 2022 rookie of the year. At first glance one would think that his claim is absurd BUT!
According to A New York times bestselling author and W.W.E Hall Of Famer Mick Foley, you should never allow another individual to determine what success is for you.
Glenn Williams has not and may never win over the crowd. That does not damage his confidence. Even as A young rookie out of the Ace Wrestling Academy, He is still confident enough to believe he can beat The Big Texan Jim Hoffarth at his own game.
Many will argue over what he is or what he isn't. But one simple fact is you are what you eat. As a young fan his eyes gravitated toward 4 major greats, Steve Austin, Mick Foley, HHH, And Ric Flair. Well undoubtedly those are 4 great building blocks to lay onto the foundation his Father laid for him, His Father being his number one role model followed by none other than Sean Vincent. Work ethic he has in boatloads, he works very hard in and out of the ring to spread his name as far as it will go. As far as 2022 is concerned in comparing or contrasting rookies should include a few modern elements. One such element is social media. Hands down he is killing it in that regard on multiple platforms.
He has yet to apply his "finishing move" The Big Nasty Slam. But he insists that it will happen. And in the words of his all time favorite musical group The Wu Tang Clan, that move "ain't nothin to f-+- with"
It is the unbiased declaration of this professional wrestling journalist that Big Nasty Glenn Jacobs is 2022 SICW Rookie of the year.

Jim Hoffarth The Big Hall Of Famer

There is no Hall Of Fame that has the distinction of being "The". There are various halls of fame. Wrestling alone has a number of them. Some of these are proverbial Halls of Fame. That means there are no material buildings that contain these halls.
Scott Steiner was once asked about how he would feel about going into the WWE Hall Of Fame. He stated that he did not care because, it did not exist due to it, not being in a material building.
Scott Steiner was wrong. A hall of Fame is a way of keeping a record of the greats in that specific genre. It can be materialized with plaques, rings or a variety of other signifiers.
Fortunately the Midwest independent Wrestling Hall of Fame is such a proverbial one. There is no Hall in any Building that could hold the Mountain of A man that Jim Hoffarth is.
