I would like to thank all of the recent "LIKES" for my Shotgun Instruction page!!! I haven't been updating the page as often as I would like as it has just gotten so much more expensive, even than it already was, to shoot. My student list has dwindled, but I still enjoy teaching. If you need a brush-up as Dove Season is right around the corner (about 9 weeks away here in Alabama), just let me know. I may start posting, on this page, an "exercise of the week" kind of thing if the interest is there. Let me know!!

Again, thanks to all of you that have taken lessons from me in the past, thank you for frequenting this page, and just let me know if I can help your shooting in any way.

Lastly, I am a "fi****ms" instructor with certification in Shotgun. I will do lessons for beginner pistol, tactical rifle, and hunting rifle for those that ask. Again, I hold no formal certification other than shotgun, however, I have several very satisfied pistol and rifle clients as well.

So how did opening day of dove season go for everybody?!?!?! Need a little help hitting more birds? Did you shoot a box of shells for every bird or two that you bagged? Maybe I can help!

Well, it's getting that time of the year again!! Hopefully, the hottest part of summer is behind us, the days are getting shorter, August is the last month before the 'ber' months come to fruition, and DOVE season is very close at hand!! If you need a brush-up, a dust-off, or just want to hone your skills to add a few more birds than your buddy hits, just give me a call, I can help!!!

Had a great shoot/lesson with Mike this morning at Selwood Farm!! Also, got caught back up with my old friend, Arlie Fortner of Arlie's Outdoors. Arlie's Outdoors in Chelsea is where you want to go for guns, fishing, hunting, bows, accessories and whatever you may need for outdoors. He is a great guy and I am SO GLAD he is back in town!!!!

It was a great day in the life of a shotgun instructor today. Watched a client go 21 for 22 on the first 7 stations of s***t. It was a pretty site! Great job, Mike!

Great lesson today with Mike. A lot of "ah-ha" moments for him today that were rewarding for me as well!! I got as excited with some of his hits today as he did!! We introduced lead and crossing clays today and he did a FANTASTIC job!! Pround of you, Mike. You are progressing very well. And, do your homework!!!

An absolutely wonderful time at the gun club today. I love taking new shooters and watching them begin to break targets, not just from blind luck, but because of what they have learned and put it into use. Great job, Mike. I am certainly proud of your progress in one lesson!!! I think you SMASHED the last 12 or 13 in a row!! Then I threw you the curve at station 1, at you smashed both of those to end the day!! Awesome job, sir!!!!!
