Any pop tabs that have been collected can be dropped off at the Interstate 35 High School baseball crow’s nest this week at any of the home games on Tuesday, June 27th, Wednesday, June 28th, or Thursday, June 29th. The Lady Roadrunners would like to thank you for helping them support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa!

The Lady Roadrunners are looking to add 2-3 softball players for this coming 14U team. We are looking for interested athletes that possess a great attitude and a love for the game of softball. The 14U Lady Roadrunners have been collecting pop tabs since the start of last season. We are going to continue collecting them throughout this school year as well.

If you would like to join us and help with this program, please save your pop tabs. You can give them to one of the Lady Roadrunners at any time during this school year. We will also have a drop-off day at the end of the season sometime this June or July.

Now that the season has ended…for all you ADOPTERS, ”Adopt-a-Player” exceeded our expectations and the season’s stats were simply outstanding.

The Lady Roadrunners wrapped up an enjoyable season in Kansas City at the Missouri state tournament. The team started the tournament off with a bang in a walk-off victory, played under the lights and fireworks until nearly midnight, had some fun team-building activities including an escape room, and battled in the tournament until the very end.

I would like to thank the families of the girls for their support throughout the season. It has been an incredible season, and I am extremely proud of the progress the girls have made. I would also like to thank the sponsors for your generous donations. We could not have done it without you.
