Today was a tough one. Weather, injuries, trail conditions, a whole bunch of excuses stood in my way BUT, together with my pacer, I got 14 done and am one training run closer to Boston. Thanks J, could NOT have done it without you, and couldn’t be happier it’s done. Thanks J.

Not cool.

Not cool.

We talked to charities and charity runners to learn more about the process, and learned that ghosting isn't just a thing that happens in dating.

Running Through the Winter!
Starting January 5th through April 20th

This 16-week training plan is designed for a running group of varying experience levels, aiming to improve endurance, speed, and overall fitness. Whether you’re preparing for a 5K, 10K, Half, Full or just looking to enhance their running capabilities, this plan fosters a supportive community environment that encourages camaraderie and progress.

**Goals:**
- Build running endurance progressively over 16 weeks.
- Foster team spirit and motivation within the group.
- Stay motivated during the winter months.

**Key Features:**
- Group Runs: Weekly Sunday long runs
- Personalized training adaptations based on your target race.
- Coaching Support: Access to experienced coach who will provide guidance, encouragement, and personalized tips.
- Goal Setting: Individual goal-setting to track progress and celebrate achievements.

The plan gradually increases mileage and intensity, ensuring participants can adapt without risk of injury. Each week’s long run will incrementally add distance, peaking a few weeks before the target event, followed by a tapering period to allow for optimal performance.

Participants will be encouraged to share their running experiences, challenges, and successes through group discussions via a What’s App channel, creating a motivating environment that enhances the training experience.

Overall, this 16-week training plan aims to not only improve running performance but also to foster lasting friendships and a love for running within the group. Whether participants are training for their first race or aiming to beat their personal best, this plan will support their journey every step of the way. DM me for questions or sign up!

I was today years old when I discovered how Reddit really works…. With anonymity. Cyberbullying has no place in my life, hiding behind an alias or a keyboard is cowardly. Every lie, every unkind comment, every instance of harassment diminishes our collective strength and, honestly ,just adds to the ever increasing su***de numbers. We already live in a society of negativity and hostility, of course your voice matters, but can it be on a level of honesty, respect, support and facts.
As adults, surely we can do better.

Hello everyone, since today is Worlds Mental Health Day I thought it would be the perfect time to announce........
As many of you know, I’ll be running the 129th Boston Marathon next April, and I’m excited to take on this incredible challenge. But it’s not just about crossing the finish line; it’s about making a difference along the way.
I’m raising funds for Mental Health, specifically, The Yale New Haven Children/Adolescent ward, an organization dedicated to providing vital resources and support for those struggling with mental health issues. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and together, we can help break the stigma and provide help to those in need.
This is something I myself have struggled with (and continue to) since I was a child and running has been a pivotal instrument in my mental health. I only wish there were better resources then and now as it continues to be a stigma.
Every dollar counts, and your generosity can make a real impact. If you’re able to donate, please visit https://diy.ynhh.org/.../Heidis-Boston-Run-for-Mental-Health to contribute. If you can’t donate, sharing this post would mean the world to me! (Link in Bio)
Thank you for your support as I run for mental health awareness. Let’s make every mile count!

What a perfect day for a 13.1! Thank you four a very well organ event, perfect temperatures, and an all around great race, even though I think you put a couple of extra hills in there this year! Congrats on your 10 year anniversary!
Managed a first place age group, scoring me another perfect wine glass to match last years!
Shout out to for coming second place female overall,
Thanks also to for the recovery shoe hook up and of course, for the gentle persuasion 😘
