Yesterday, we raced hard for Beckett! One of our fellow race families is experiencing a parents’ worst nightmare. Their son Beckett, a senior driver at our track, was in an awful electric scooter accident. So this weekend we came together for racing and all proceeds went to the Vang family! Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as Beckett continues to heal.
Junior Honda- Myra 💜
Heat 2 ➡️ 1 🏁 Our girl was fast!!!
Feature 2 ➡️ 1 🏁 That race was a hard one. Myra got a little excited in p2 on a restart and earned herself a line violation. Set herself back a little bit. She avoided an accident really well. She smoothed out her steering really well in this race thanks to some encouraging words from Jeffrey! She drove hard and parked it in Victory Lane.
Senior Honda- Kinsley 🩷

Feature 3 ➡️ 3 This one was a little bit of a heartbreaker but has a happy ending. She was driving so hard! She made it into the lead. She was looking great. She navigated through lapped traffic until she didn’t. She was behind a lap car, car came down just a little and Kins was right there. He spun and the call was made on Kinsley. Not sure what she really could have done differently there but… that’s racing. To the tail she went. 11 laps to go and she wasn’t accepting a finish near the end of the pack. She drove her way to 3rd place. 🥉 We couldn’t be prouder!

This was only a three car race but it was still a fun one to watch! Myra’s bff Ava lead most of the race and was so fast! It’s always fun to watch these girls together!

Another racer was unable to race the feature so we actually started P2. An outside spot that our girl isn’t a fan of! At the start she tried to make her way but fell into 4th place at the start. She worked her way to 3rd. Battling back and fourth with the 2nd place car. Another heartbreaker, she was in 2nd being being passed by the 3rd place car, while trying to give racing room and then get back into her spot the fourth place car snuck in there and made contact with Kinsley. Chain came off, to the pits we went. She drove it back to 4th place and again, we couldn’t be prouder. She drove hard, clean, smart and FAST! 💨
