Big Spoon II is a StarCraft Titan 186 completely rigged to successfully jig, troll and live bait fish Cayuga Lake’s abundant Lake Trout, Landlocked Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. We specialize in 2-3 person jigging trips out of Taughannock Falls State Park Marina, where the angler can enjoy the fight of these prized gamefish without the encumbrance of trolling gear. This morning Lynne, Doug and Tom climbed aboard for their 5th consecutive season, and per usual, put a good whoopin on the lakers. We finished with a dozen fish in the hoop, and a few fish tales to tell.

This morning Dave joined me on a solo-mission to seek and destroy Lake Trout on the jig. The fishing was excellent, and Dave was able to bring 14 Lakers to the net - all but 2 evaded the kill bag.

Mission accomplished.

We had Lynne, Doug and Tom on board this morning, and boy oh boy did they have a day. We were on the fish from the second drop, and a bakers dozen later we called it quits. Doesn’t get much better than this. A few dates left, don’t miss out!

Merle and Lilly jumped aboard yesterday morning as the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl entered New York State. Despite the unstable conditions and aquamarine colored water, the duo put a respectable box together!

It was a busy morning for Tom, Katie and Alex - lots of bites, lots of fish, lots of slime. We had a consistent bite early, and worked a little harder for them as the morning wore on. A solid double-digit day for the crew!

This morning started off a little rocky for Jake, Mike and Matt aka Barn Cat, with our first 3 bites being dropped just out of net range. The guys persevered, and despite gusty winds and rough conditions put a nice box of fish together. Barn Cat turned out to be quite a mouser, and was high hook today!

Yesterday, Dan and Teagan hopped aboard for the last trip of the 2023 season. Fishing was tough, but they managed to boat some nice ones. Thank you to everybody who fished with us this year - already looking forward to next season!

Covered a lot of lake yesterday and were rewarded with some beautiful fish. Lynne, Doug and Tom had an action packed morning, capped off with Lynne’s 9+ lbs lake trout, and in the afternoon we cycled through a couple groups for my friend’s family reunion, which was highlighted by a healthy jig-eating rainbow trout.

Been a busy week of jigging on Cayuga. Fishings been good to great, and we have a few openings left for 2023.

We had Dusty, Dylan and Caleb out for an action-packed morning of jigging. Lost more fish than we could count, but brought a steady handful topside.
