Dear Snow Sculptors of the World,
It is with heavy hearts that we let you know that Carve Tahoe will not be happening in 2015.
Weather and funding have made it difficult to plan for 2015.
Fear not, we do hope to someday bring the event back!
A huge thank you to Northstar California Resort for their partnership and enthusiasm. A special thank you as well to our sponsors Sapporo USA, Finlandia Vodka, North Lake Tahoe, Alaska Airlines, Mt. Lincoln Construction and the many other contributors to Carve Tahoe.
The Carve Team also wants to say how much we have enjoyed getting to know our participants. Without the artistry, great humor and enthusiasm these artists brought to California, the event would not have been possible. A special thank you to Greg, Evi, Don, Mike, Ken, Shin, Terry, Yoshimasa, Lothar, Detlef, Friedemann, Sabine, Jan, Saila, Minna, Greg, Dan, Mark, Ira, Mark, Ed, Rusty, Kirk, Helena and Batmunkh, Govisaikhan, and Altanbayar.
We cannot wait to do it again, and will keep you posted if and when something changes.
