100 years ago we had our 1st state champion in Track & Field, Paul Tooley, who won the state title in the 440 yd dash. This Saturday, we will honor our 4 state champions in track & cross country prior to the Up & Running Invite: Tooley, Levi Fox, Morgan Gigandet & Lenea Browder. Come out to Troy Memorial Stadium on Saturday, March 23rd to honor our state champions and watch our current track and field team kick off their season at the 2024 Up and Running Invitational. Ceremony will begin around 9:30am and the meet begins at 10am.

It was great to see so many alumni, coaches, officials and friends at Coach Hartman’s visitation this afternoon. It was amazing to see the everlasting impact he made on so many people.
Tomorrow, there will be a container of chalk on the pole vault runway at Troy Memorial Stadium for anyone who would like to write Coach Hartman a message. THANK YOU HERB!

The Troy High School Track & Field program has openings for 2 high school assistant coaches. One coach would be focused on coaching high jump and/or long jump and one coach would be focused on coaching hurdlers. If you or anyone you know might be interested, please contact Coach Kurt Snyder ([email protected]) or Athletic Director Dave Palmer ([email protected]). Practice begins on Tuesday, Feb 21st. These are paid positions.
