Hawks Hill School of Martial Arts Hawks Hill School of Martial Arts offers training in Japanese grappling, weapons, and zazen meditation.

Hawks Hill is a third-generation owned farm located in Troy, NY encompassing 90 acres of cultivated land and forest. The name of the farm originates from the the great wind thermals that draw various birds of prey, including red-tailed hawk to hunt the vast and open hills on the farm. Among the variety of flora and fauna on the property, Hawks Hill is also a place for martial arts training and int

egrative health services. Individuals are encouraged to reconnect with nature and foster their own sense of wellness at Hawks Hill. It is our intention to facilitate the teachings of Budo, Zen, mindfulness, and wellness to those individuals seeking better alignment with a natural way of life.

Going forward, that energy is going into things that directly support training:

• deeper in-person instruction
• better systems and structure
• long-term resources for students, including a private video library, student handbook, etc.

This is about building something real, not feeding an algorithm.
