Green Season is about so much more than just dancing.

It’s about sharing Irish culture with our community, performing alongside friends, building confidence, and bringing a little extra joy to the St. Patrick’s Day season.

For many of our dancers, these performances become some of the most memorable moments of the entire dance year — the excitement of the music, the energy of the crowd, and the pride of representing McGovern Irish Dance.

We’re excited to be part of the Dublin Pub St. Patrick’s Pre-Party on Monday, March 16! Join McGovern Irish Dance as we bring the rhythm, energy, and tradition of Irish dance to the Oregon District.

☘️🌍 Mark Your Calendars – World A’Fair Weekend! 🌍☘️

Join us as McGovern Irish Dance takes the stage at Dayton’s World A’Fair on May 1–3! This incredible international festival celebrates cultures from around the world with music, dance, and food — and our dancers are proud to represent Ireland throughout the weekend.

Our dancers will perform across several stages, including the Parade of Nations, Interactive Stage, and Main Stage, sharing the energy and tradition of Irish dance with the community. McGovern Irish Dance is known for bringing authentic Irish dance performances to festivals and events throughout the region.

Bring your family and friends, enjoy the festival atmosphere, and come cheer on our dancers as they showcase their hard work and love of Irish dance!

In this video, our newest dancers are working on staying in a straight line, listening for the rhythm, and really focusing on their footwork. It might look simple… but this is where strong dancers are built.
