To Our Brunswick Blitz Lightning Girls and Families,
Today marks the end of an unforgettable chapter — our final game together as the Brunswick Blitz Lightning.
It’s a sad day for all of us. This team wasn’t just a lineup of players — it was a family built from the ground up. We started this team from scratch with a vision, a lot of heart, and a group of girls who believed in each other. In just one year, you made that vision come to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined.
From winter workouts to hot summer tournaments, you gave everything you had. We saw pitchers develop poise and power, hitters grow into confident threats at the plate, and teammates who always had each other’s backs. Your growth as athletes was amazing — but your growth as teammates, leaders, and friends was even more inspiring.
Off the field, we built something just as special. Birthday parties, team events, and moments that brought us all closer — these are the memories we’ll hold onto forever.
As the team officially disbands and some of you move on to 12U or new journeys, know this: you were part of something truly special. You helped build something from nothing, and no one can ever take that away from you.
We’ll miss you all more than words can say. But we’re so proud of each and every one of you, and we know you’ll continue to shine wherever you go.
Keep playing hard. Stay true to yourselves. And never forget the Lightning family you were a part of.
